In my personal opinion, the graphics are familiar to Japanese gamers, and it’s a game that suits players who enjoy thinking about their formations. I completed the story in about 50 hours, and I think it’s good for a solo game. However, I feel that playing the game for PVP purposes (online battles) is currently not recommended. I’m going to write a little memo.

■You can enjoy trial and error because the player can think about and set the settings such as “do this under these conditions”.
Since the conditions and priority for skill activation can be set by the player, it is possible to make very detailed settings, such as setting a skill that can be used as a countermeasure if the opponent has a certain class.
It seems to be similar to the Gambit system in Final Fantasy 12, and if I could play a game like this on my smartphone, I would definitely play it. (As long as you don’t mind the game’s atmosphere…) When it comes to unit composition, it’s a game that is impeccable and time flies on the composition screen, but there were some concerns about the online battle section that makes such compositions useful, so I would like to write about them.

■Battle format and ranking
This is a method in which you choose your opponent from among five opponents. You can update your opponent, and there is no penalty and you can update it as many times as you like. One thing to note about the rankings is that there are many tied for first place in the rankings. It seems that the rankings are decided based on points, but the players with the same score lined up at the top. It is likely that the ranking system is designed to examine favorable opponents from the beginning of the season, and if you continue to win consecutive games (if you don’t lose at all) you can maintain your first place. *The season seems to change about every 15 days in the first half and second half of the month. There is no change in points for defense regarding the defense’s victory or loss, so it seems possible to maintain the ranking by continuing to target players who are not serious about their defense settings. *I once played a game where points did not change based on defense, and there were quite a few players, even at the top, who tended to neglect their defense formations.
■Existence of debuff-ineffective equipment and status abnormality-ineffective equipment
If you progress through the scenario normally, you will be able to obtain multiple pieces of equipment that are immune to debuffs and status ailments, and all members of the formation (5 people) will be able to equip them. Therefore, it is basically better to think that all characters, both your own and your opponent’s, are equipped with some kind of invalid equipment. There is equipment that has two to three resistances, but it is very unfortunate that there are almost no opportunities to use it due to the above-mentioned upper compatible equipment, and the individuality of the equipment has been lost. In online battles, it is difficult to use tactics such as blocking the opponent’s actions with a stun, or lowering the opponent’s attack power to withstand them, and the range of debuff tactics has been reduced. If there were limited conditions for these equipment, such as the effect of nullifying debuffs and status ailments not being activated in online battles, I think it would create a deep battle environment.
